A kid classic!
One thing I do fry a lot of is bacon! My sons are addicted and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't. And this light, healthy breakfast was and is one of Boo's favorites while growing up. He always loved his hard-boiled eggs. Sadly, we didn't always have a toaster, which was fine as I didn't grow up with one, either. But that's okay. Skillet toasted toast is actually prettier and tastier, just probably not as healthy as the other.
Granny Mae Wisdom--No woman ever killed a man while he was washing dishes. Just sayin'.
You can use margarine instead of butter and I use light butter to save on calories. And if you add Cinnamon Sugar, you have instant Cinnamon Sugar Toast. That was always Cabal's favorite. Every morning I made it (which was a lot), he would smile and tell me I was the best mom ever.
