Peanut Butter Fudge

Dessert

Peanut Butter Fudge

While I'm a big, big fan of chocolate, I'm also a big, big fan of peanut butter. Needless to say, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups are my weakness in life :)

That being said, I always make a large batch of fudge at Christmas for my boys. But the "blondie" version goes over pretty darn well, too!

Granny Mae Wisdom--Diet! Blah! There's a reason it's a four letter word that begins with die.

For extra holiday pizazz, I often sprinkle green and red jimmies over them, or gold sugar glitter. White snowflakes work well, too.

Peanut Butter Fudge

3 Cups Granulated Sugar

1 2/3 Cups Creamy Peanut Butter (Jif peanut spread is my recommendation)

2/3 Cup Evaporated Milk

1/2 Cup Butter

1 7 oz Jar Marshmallow Creme

1 tsp Vanilla

No-Stick Cooking Spray

1. Liberally spray a 13X9 pan with cooking spray. You can also preline it with aluminum foil and then spray it.

2. Stir together sugar, milk and butter in a large saucepan, over a medium heat.

3. Stirring constantly to avoid scorching or burning, bring mixture to a boil.

4. Boil for five minutes while continuing to stir constantly.

5. Remove from heat.

6. Add Peanut Butter.

7. Stir until smooth and blended.

8. Add Marshmallow creme and vanilla.

9. Stir until well blended.

10. Pour into pan and spread out. And add jimmies or sprinkles at this time.

11. Allow to cool and harden.

12. Cut into pieces.

13. Serve and enjoy!
