Granny Mae Wisdom--Just because you can doesn't mean you should.
While I fried these in grease with my FryDaddy, you can also use an airfryer for them. I've prepared them in mine and it does work. However, my sons prefer the old-fashioned fry method. You can also top them with cheese sauce, enchilada sauce, sour cream or guacamole.
Easy Taquitos
I package Nasoya Foods, Wraps Egg Roll
1.5 lbs lean ground beef
1 Goya Sofrito Tomato Cooking Base (12 oz)
Salt & Pepper to taste
Splash of Hot Sauce (optional)
Diced Onions (optional)
Garlic Salt (optional)
1. Cut ingredients into ground beef in a microwave save bowl.
2. Microwave on high for five minutes.
3. Heat oil.
4. Remove from microwave and chop meat up in the bowl until it's finely crumbled.
5. Return bowl to the microwave and cook an additional 6 minutes on high.
6. Spoon meat into an egg roll wrap.
7. Gently fold wrap around the meat and use water to moisten the end so that it seals tightly.
8. Repeat the process until all the wraps are used.
9. Fry with air or grease until the Taquitos are golden brown.
10. Serve and enjoy!
