Easy Apple Pie

Dessert

There are thousands and thousands of Apple Pie recipes. I've tried a million of them. BTW, in case you haven't noticed, math isn't my forte :)

But out of all the different recipes I've tried, I have to say that this one is by far my fave, and it's not just because it's one of the easiest. Of course, it's not the most calorie friendly, either, but hey, somethings are worth getting fat for :)

Granny Mae Wisdom--Diet! Blah! There's a reason it's a four letter word that begins with die.

For an extra bit of yummy, serve with a side of ice cream!

Easy Apple Pie

2 Cans Crescent Rolls

16 Slices Granny Smith Apples (peeled)

2 Sticks Butter

1 1/2 Cup Sugar

1 teaspoon Vanilla

1 Cup Sprite

Cinnamon to taste

1. Make sure apples are peeled and sliced.

2. Wrap each slice in a crescent roll.

3. Spray liberally 9X13 inch pan with Pam.

4. Melt butter in a microwave or on stove.

5. Stir sugar into butter.

6. Add Vanilla.

7. Pour over the apple slices in pan.

8. Sprinkle liberally with cinnamon.

9. Pour Sprite around the edges of the pan and in the middle, but not over dough.

10. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes, until it's golden brown.

11. Serve and enjoy!
