A quick nummy holiday treat that you can make whenever you need something fast to entertain guests or make the kids and adults happy.
And technically, they're not just for holidays. They're great anytime of the year. Back when my sister owned a catering company, these were something that could be done fast and in large batches.

The peppermint flavored ones are the most common, but you can also make them with two teaspoons of butter flavored extract for an extra creamy mint or even lemon extract. As always, be creative!
Cream Cheese Mints
1 Package Cream Cheese
2 TSP Peppermint Extract
2 Tablespoons Butter
8 Cups Confectioner's Sugar
Food coloring (optional)
1. Cream the ingredients together in a large bowl until smooth.
2. Roll a teaspoon amount of dough into a ball.
3. Place ball on wax paper.
4. Dip a fork into confectioner's sugar and flatten out ball.
5. Allow mints to air dry for approximately two hours.
6. Serve and enjoy!
7. Refrigerate or freeze leftovers.
