Side Dish
When I was a kid, I had a Vietnamese babysitter. This was one of the dishes that she'd make whenever I was with her. It quickly became my favorites and I love it to this day.
Granny Mae Wisdom--just a dab of this. Just a dab of that. And pray it works out!
I love to eat this with curry chicken or chicken lettuce wraps.
Ba'corn
1 Cup Bacon Bits
2 Cups Canned Whole Corn
1 Cup Heavy Cream
Small Onion (diced)
1/4 Cup Bell Pepper
1/2 Cup Cheddar Cheese
1/2 Cup Mozzarella Cheese
1 tsp Minced Garlic
Cayenne Pepper to taste
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
1. Drain Corn.
2. Saute vegetables in a large skillet in 2 teaspoons of butter until they're tender.
3. Add the rest of the ingredients and bring to a boil.
4. Place in oven that's been preheated to broil.
5. Broil until the top is golden brown.
6. Enjoy!
